The Masa Educational Design Unit provides multiple opportunities for professional development to the Masa programs’ staff. The offer is based on Masa’s Journey Approach and offers insights, theories and methodologies to design effective educational experiences.

The approach is built on theories and models from the fields of educational design, adult learning and career development, and focuses on the design of identity building experiences in Israel.

Partners who are interested in learning more about the Matzpen methodology are welcome to reach out to Tamar Sorek, Director of Educational Impact.

What does the Matzpen approach towards professional development include?

  • Landscape mapping: leveraging the power of local realities
  • A model for the design of exploratory experiences
  • Journeys of personal development versus journeys of discovery
  • Community as a value and as a vehicle for educational purposes

The Masa Educational Design Unit provides opportunities to the Masa participants community while they are in Israel.
